Yes! We offer flexible payment plans:

For the 8-day trip (June 20 - June 27, $2,888):

$500 initial deposit

$450 monthly for 6 months

For the 6-day trip (July 3 - July 8, $2,477):

$500 initial deposit

$388 monthly for 6 months

Question 5: Is the deposit refundable?

The $500 deposit is non-refundable but transferable if initiated by December 1, 2024. You can arrange for another traveler to take your spot and recoup the deposit directly from them.

Question 6: Will there be free time to explore on my own?

Yes! While there will be structured time to guide you through the city's most important sites, you'll have opportunities for personal exploration including:

-Visiting local markets with artisans selling handcrafted jewelry, textiles, and instruments

-Strolling the streets of Pelourinho to discover impromptu capoeira performances

-Exploring Salvador's museums like the Afro-Brazilian Museum

-Beach time (if staying at beachfront accommodation)

We understand that plans can change, and we’ve designed our refund and transfer policy to provide clarity and flexibility:

Refunds Prior to 120 Days:

For cancellations made more than 120 days before the trip, a 50% refund of payments (excluding the non-refundable deposit) is available.

No Changes Allowed Within 90 Days of the Trip:

Due to the commitments and arrangements made for your trip, no changes, refunds, or transfers can be accommodated within 90 days of the trip’s start date.

Transfer of Payments:

Any payments (less the non-refundable deposit) can be transferred to a future trip or training hosted by CHI Healing Institute or Dr. La Toya Davis. This credit must be used within two years of the original booking date. Request must be received in writing within 60 days of the trip.

Additional Notes:
